Midwife representative for Inuulitsivik Health Centre Maternity

Arian worked as a midwife in Colorado before joining the International Midwifery Pre-Registration Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. Following a clerkship in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Arian officially qualified as a Canadian midwife in 2011 and practised midwifery in rural Saskatchewan, in remote Inuit communities in northern Quebec, and in Toronto.

Genevieve Lamarche is a midwife. She graduated from UQTR in 2014, and started practicing in Nunavik in 2019. Genevieve learned to gut fish, but still cannot ride a skidoo!

Holder of a bachelor's and master's degree in psychoeducation, Eva has extensive expertise in communications, human relations, professional coaching and crisis intervention. Fluent in three languages, she acquired her field experience by working with several types of clients in different environments and different countries. From the context of restructuring or crisis, through intercultural and work team supervision, she knows how to use her knowledge and experience to benefit the individuals with whom she interacts.
